Great service, excellent food and reasonably priced. Ordered the pork schnitzel which comes with salad, soup, fried potatoes, bread and red cabbage for $13.95. Having eaten schnitzel in Germany I would recommend this place to anyone. Spaten Oktoberfest is only $2.50 a bottle as well.

A Romanian lady who sells her delicious baked goods at the Hernando Farmer's market told me about this place. She was right on the button. This is a cozy Romanian Restaurant. I had the pork chops broiled with mashed potatoes. It came with chicken noodle soup, fresh bread, salad and red cabbage!! Very nice dinner and cozy place.

This place no longer exists. The building is GONE! Rumor has it that the owner passed away. He was found,deceased, in the parking lot. A great loss,as we always enjoyed eating there.

Went with some friends while at the dog show. Everyone enjoyed their food. It came out fresh and hot. The server was excellent - funny and attentive. Most got the veal schnitzel and they said it was good. The chicken soup is homemade with homemade spaetzle noodles. The broth had nice depth. Salad was typical iceberg and bread was served piping hot with real butter (real butter gets mad bonus points from me!). Duck was crispy served with orange sauce. Red cabbage is also homemade and very good. Mashed potatoes - yup, homemade! With real lumps and everything! (Not whipped to death.) Make sure to leave room for the apple strudel!! It's a bit off the beaten path, not well lit up at night, and could certainly use some freshening up. The food quality is good German home cooking. Maybe not the best ever but worth a try if you're in the area. Nothing fancy, very casual, and they only take cash so be prepared.

Quaint little place. Appears to be a home converted to a restaurant. The waitress was great - lots of personality and checked on us several times. Portion were healthy, my wife ordered the grilled tilapia and it was HUGE. Soup was very good too. I didn't try any of their specials, but they had goulash the day we went in. Lots of memorabilia on the walls - it was great sitting with my eleven year old and explaining the folks in the pictures!

The waitress had alot of personality, and the schnitzel portion was large and pounded real thin. it was ok, a little dry. The soup needed kick or salt, but i guess that's better than too much salt. They were out of spaten. My friend had the fish and it wasn't so good. She took the waitress recommendation, but wasn't anything like she expected and was not a fan at all. They didn't recommend her a new dish and still charged her even though she only took a little bite. She won't be going back, and doubt I will be either.

I went here with a group of friends who have been coming here for a long time and I was underwhelmed. I had the pork schnitzel and it was a large portion but very dry. I had mashed potatoes and the gravy was like jelly. The salad was just iceberg lettuce. I also ordered a glass of house Merlot and it was obvious that the bottle had been opened a while and was turning. The room we sat in is looking old and dirty. You get soup and salad and I ordered the Tomato soup which was mostly elbow macaroni. My friends ordered the chicken soup which had what appeared to be spaetzela in it. I wish I had ordered that instead.

Went there tonite for our anniversary.soup was ok, salad was ok,schnitzel was good. Mashed potatoes were bland. This is how they could improve- how about a nice rye or dark bread -not plain white Italian! How about spaetzle or at least noodles? Won't go again and would not recommend it.
